1-2 month stay in Cochabamba

Hello, My husband and I are taking a year to travel through South America, and we would like to spend 1 to 2 months in Cochabamba. While there, my husband is planning on paragliding (he is a licensed pilot) and i would like to take some Spanish classes. In addition, I'd be interested in doing some volunteer work. We are also interested in meet ups, or other social events where we could meet other English speakers living in the area. If you have any information to share on any of these topics, i'd love to from you!
