1000 Charangos in Concert!

1000 Charango players from all over the world will gather on October 24th, 2009 at the Victor Agustín Urgarte stadium in Potosí, Bolivia for the Concierto de los 1000 Charangos (Concert of 1000 Charangos directed by William Ernesto Centellas). This amazing concert is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for those who enjoy charango music.

By the time the 1000 charangos happened in potosi, it was directed by alfredo coca in tribute to maestro centellas already passed away.

I think the information that you have is wrong. There was more than 1000 Charangos from Bolivia but also some participant from countries all around the world. This event was register in the Records Guiness.
